2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. whole-wheat flour
1 c. dried currants
1 c. light-brown sugar
1 T. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Measure all ingredients into a large ziploc bag, seal & shake well.
To Use:
Irish Soda Bread
1 package Irish Soda Bread Mix
1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Blend all ingredients in a large bowl until smooth, bake in 9" greased pan
at 350F for 45-50 minutes. |
