Twenty Mule Team Soap

1 can lye
6 cups water
1/2 cup Twenty Mule Team Borax
9 cups tallow or lard, Melted
6 cups very warm water

Combine first 3 ingredients until dissolved. (It's easiest to let them set a couple hours). Add melted lard to warm water, and carefully add the dissolved lye/borax mix. Lye is very caustic so use caution!

Pour into old pans. Cut into large squares when solid.
